Petron Blaze and Talk n Text had a reversal of roles in Game Two. This time, it was Petron who pulled through and hit the biggest shots in the endgame
Five Petron players delivered double-digit outputs with two coming through with double-double numbers. The Boosters opened a commanding spread early in the fourth quarter and overcame the Texters’ endgame chase for the series-tying win. The Boosters led by as many as 16 points before the Texters started converting desperation shots in the last few minutes.

Alex Cabagnot, Joseph Yeo, Danny Ildefonso, Arwind Santos and Chris Lutz did the job for Petron.
Cabagnot topscored with 24 points while Ildefonso and Santos churned out double-double numbers, combining for 23 points and the same number of rebounds. Yeo contributed 17 points, including 11 in the final half while Lutz added 10 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals.
Only Jayson Castro logged good numbers for the TNT starters, making 15 points and 11 rebounds while the rest of his first five mates combined for only 8 markers.

Ildefonso played well coming off the bench, logging 12 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists against 3 turnovers. The two-time MVP winner capped his performance with a clutch jumper right in front of their bench, cooling down TnT’s rally at 89-84 with 20.5 ticks left.
