RAIN OR SHINE ELASTO-PAINTERS over POWERADE TIGERS, 110-95
As promised by their coach, the Rain or Shine Elasto-Painters fought back to forge a 2-2 deadlock with the Powerade Tigers in their PBA Philippine Cup semifinal faceoff.

Losing Game Three by throwing bricks, Rain or Shine coach Yeng Guiao vowed they would work on their shooting and they would spring back in Game Four.

The Elasto Painters made good on Guiao’s words.

Jeff Chan rifled in 3 treys on his way to 19 points
to lead the Painters to the pivotal Game 4 win.

Rain or Shine used hot shooting to repulse Powerade and get even. Even Rain or Shine big men JR Quinahan and Beau Belga responded as the Elasto Painters foiled the Tigers’ bid to stretch their series lead to 3-1.

With crucial outside bombs, the Elasto Painters took a 53-43 cushion late in the first half and essentially won the game at the outset of the fourth quarter at 81-61.

Jeff Chan, Paul Lee, Gabe Norwood, TY Tang, Ryan Arana, Belga and Quinahan combined for 10 triples and a 38.5-percent clip from rainbow land. Chan knocked in 3 of 5 three-pointers to pace the Elasto Painters with 19 points while Lee contributed 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.

Gary David had another 30+ game, but it wasn't
enough to counteract the Painters' hot shooting.

Gary David got away with yet another 30-point performance, but his effort went down the drain together with Doug Kramer’s double-double stats of 12 points and 14 rebounds.
