Without further ado, here they are – the top five point guards of the 2015-2016 PBA Philippine Cup:

5. LA Revilla (MAH) - 12.5ppg, 3.8rpg, 4.2apg, 2.0spg, 1.2 triples per game, 37.9 FG%
- LA Tenorio of Ginebra is the default “LA” when it comes to top-of-mind point guards in the PBA, but Mahindra’s own LA has been the one really putting up better numbers. The DLSU alum has been very solid for the Enforcers this season, leading them in scoring a couple of times while also constantly among their best defenders, playmakers, and, at times, even rebounders.
4. Alex Cabagnot (SMB) - 14.2ppg, 3.3rpg, 4.3apg, 1.1spg, 1.5 triples per game, 39.8 FG%
- Cabaggie was one of GlobalPort’s main weapons early last season, and despite the dip in production, he still remains a vital cog for the Beermen this season. He is a big reason SMB is in the Finals right now, still alive in spite of their falling behind 0-3 to start the series. The truth is that the Fil-Am continues to be one of the very best at his position, doing everything on both ends of the floor despite having a former MVP and the reigning MVP on his team.
3. RR Garcia (BAR) - 17.1ppg, 3.1rpg, 1.6apg, 1.8 triples per game, 33.3 3pt%, 39.7 FG%
- Garcia’s numbers already saw a jump last season, but he has played even better now, almost doubling his scoring average while also tallying better numbers in rebounding and three-point accuracy. Given how well he has been playing, new franchise Phoenix Petroleum should have a gem in their hands, but they have to be careful because guys like Garcia tend to get plucked by the bigger teams sooner rather than later (see Brian Heruela).
2. Jayson Castro (TNT) - 19.8ppg, 4.5rpg, 5.0apg, 1.2spg, 2.5 triples, 35.2 3pt%, 40.5 FG%
- The best point guard in Asia continue to record godly numbers this conference, but an earlier-than-expected exit for the Tropang Texters dampened any chance he may have had to contend for BPC. He remains to be TNT’s main weapon on offense, showcasing his well-rounded scoring game at every opportunity. He should continue to be very potent in the next two conferences and perhaps when he returns to national duty for Gilas Pilipinas 4.0 as well.
1. Stanley Pringle (GLO) - 19.6ppg, 7.7rpg, 4.0apg, 2.1 triples per game, 41.3 3pt%, 49.1 FG%
- The super sophomore saw a major jump in his scoring, rebounding, and three-point shooting this conference, and nobody should be surprised if he continues to surge as the season goes on. There were whispers that maybe he would be headed elsewhere after such a stellar rookie campaign, but it sure looks like the GlobalPort Batang Pier are keen on keeping their group of budding young stars, Pringle definitely included.

Jericho Cruz (ROS) - 12.3ppg, 3.3rpg, 2.1apg, 1.0 triple per game, 31.6 3pt%, 47.8 FG%
Karl Dehesa (MAH) - 12.7ppg, 3.1rpg, 3.6apg, 1.3spg, 1.9 triples per game, 33.3 3pt%, 38.6 FG%
