Batang Gilas rebounded from their shock loss to Thailand by blowing out India to close out group play on Day 5 of the 2016 FIBA Asia U18 Championship.
*The following also appears on FIBA.com.
The knockout stage of the 2016 FIBA Asia U18 Championship is set as China are the only team to get past the Group Phase undefeated after hosts Iran handed Lebanon their first loss of the tournament.
The Iranians' reward will be a Quarter-Final showdown against the three-time reigning champions China as Iran's 76-54 victory over Lebanon could not catapult them from fourth place in Group B. The hosts got 13 points each from Ehsan Samadi and Amirhossein Khandanpoor and finished 3-2 in the group. Lebanon, who got 14 points from Mark Alkhoury, still locked up first place in Group B with a 4-1 record. The Lebanese will face India in the Quarter-Finals.
