At least one of the semifinals series in the 2016 PBA Governors’ Cup is going the distance as San Miguel Beer blew Ginebra out in Game 4!

Sharpshooter Marcio Lassiter erupted for 25 points and delivered a sizzling second quarter performance that helped defending champions San Miguel Beermen thrash Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, 101-72, in Game Four of their Oppo PBA Governors’ Cup semifinals on Sunday night at SMART-Araneta Coliseum.

“Super Marcio”, who sank seven out of his nine triples, scored 13 of his total output in the second period where he ignited an 11-0 scoring run all on his own that broke the game wide open in favor of the Beermen.


With the win, San Miguel forced a deciding Game Five for a finals ticket on Tuesday.

San Miguel led by as many as 32 points and never looked back.

June Mar Fajardo also finished with 17 points and 16 boards for San Miguel.
