PHOENIX FUEL MASTERS over BGY. GINEBRA GIN KINGS, 79-73
Box Scores.
The Phoenix Fuel Masters placed themselves in strong position in the playoff race after downing Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, 79-73, in a crucial Oppo PBA Philippine Cup clash on Sunday at the Philsports Arena.
Phoenix and Ginebra entered the game in a six-way tie for second to seventh places behind only the San Miguel Beermen, which had already clinched the No. 1 spot.

He scored all of his points in the second half, eight of those in the fourth quarter, including a crucial three-pointer at the 1:51 mark that turned out to be the Phoenix’s last basket but proved enough of a buffer for the win.
Intal, the former Gilas Pilipinas member, had a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds while also tallying two steals and two blocks. He also hit a key triple in the fourth quarter less than a minute before Wright’s big shot. (Interaksyon.com)
