Kiefer Ravena’s stellar game against the Red Lions has been fashioned as an overwhelming debut. His play against the DLSU Green Archers in Dubai, however, was quite underwhelming. I was not there to see it firsthand, but the numbers are far from impressive.
He scored 6 points in the Blue Eagles’ loss to La Salle. I guess we can’t really expect “The Phenom” to wow us every game. Nico Salva top scored for the Blue&White with 25 points. Nobody else reached double figures.
On the other end of the court, former SSC Staglet Almond Vosotros (who was almost Ateneo-bound mind you!) led the Greenies with 14 markers. Big men Norbert Torres and Jovet Mendoza netted 9 points each.

Of course this 62-58 setback doesn’t mean anything in the UAAP, and sans Greg Slaughter and Ryan Buenafe, it means much less, but any loss to La Salle sucks right?
I guess one thing is for certain here: Kiefer is human after all.
We’ll be better next time. One BIG Fight! J

what happened to dela cruz?
BalasAnonymous: Not sure if he'll make the team this year. Norman Black is going to have to make some difficult cuts.
Balasayos lang yan... basta pagdating ng uaap, sana tayo pa rin ang champion. Naalala ko yung taon na 3-2 tayo vs lasalle pero sila champion against UE. And the 2002 championship. 9-5 record natin nun, pero sino panalo? Sana lang the team plays as a team.
BalasRoget: Yep that's true. I guess the big question is, who will be in the team, and who won't?
