Like in previous posts, I won’t be going into a lot of detail. I’ll use mostly images and then just add captions to each one that will, hopefully, capture the essence of the latest developments in Asian hoops.

Here are the highlights of this past week in Asian basketball:
- League-leading Liaoning absorbed another loss this past week, but they bounced back well, defeating the Xinjiang Flying Tigers for the second time this season in the CBA.
- Over in the KBL, the Wonju Dongbu Promy and Ulsan Mobis Phoebus continued their winning ways, while Cho Sung-Min’s return has continued to spark Busan KT Sonic Boom’s winning run.
- In the NBL, the Aisin Seahorses finally absorbed their first defeat, losing to the Mitsubishi Diamond Dolphins.
- Meanwhile in Taiwan, defending champ Pure Youth rebounded this week with a squeaker of a win over Taiwan Beer to remain in first place with nine wins against three losses.
- As for the Iranian Superleague, Gorgan caught a big fish by upsetting powerhouse Mahram Tehran, while Qazvin moved up after beating Naft Abadan.
- Over in Lebanon, Sagesse tagged its sixth win in as many games, while the Homenetmen got win #2 and Champville finally pulled off a W after losing its first three contests.
- Lastly, in Kazakhstan, BC Almaty Legion logged back-to-back victories over BC Kapshagay to catapult past Caspiy Aktau in the league table.

Things got a little testy between Charles Gaines of Zhejiang and Wu Ke of Shandong. Gaines dropped 32 points and 25 rebounds as Zhejiang won, 120-111. |
Steph Marbury sulks on the bench as his Beijing Ducks get clobbered by the Shanghai Sharks, 115-106. Marbury tallied 25 points, 4 rebounds, and 7 assists in the loss. |
Promising back-up guard Yang Ming has been on a tear lately, and he scored 20 points as the Flying Leopards rebounded from a loss earlier in the week to frustrate the Xinjiang Flying Tigers, 114-106. |
2014-2015 Korean Basketball League (KBL):

Korean NT sniper Cho Sung-Min drained 13 points as Busan KT Sonic Boom beat Wonju Dongbu Promy, 69-61, this past week. |
Park Sang-Oh pulls up in traffic as the Seoul SK Knights pocketed a victory over the Seoul Samsung Thunder, 70-56. Park scored 13 markers in the win. |
Iconic Korean playmaker Yang Dong-Geun helped Ulsan Mobis Phoebus to three wins this past week. The club is on top of the standings right now with a 24-6 slate. |
Yoon Ho-Young skies for the easy two points as Wonju Dongbu Promy blew out the Jeonju KCC Egis, 79-53. Wonju is currently at third spot with 20 wins in 30 games. |
2014-2015 National Basketball League - Japan (NBL-Japan):

2014-2015 Taiwanese Super Basketball League (SBL):

Chou Yi-Hsiang of the Dacin Tigers goes up strong for the lay-up. Chou helped the Tigers beat the Yulon Luxgen, 105-90. Dacin tied its victims at fourth place in the league table. |

Defending champion Pure Youth celebrates after they squeaked past Taiwan Beer, 82-80. Half-American Douglas Creighton hit the marginal basket for Pure Youth. |
Former KBL import Rod Benson debuted this week in the SBL. He has played two games now for Bank of Taiwan, though both games ended as losses. |
2014-2015 Iranian Basketball Superleague:

Lebanese-Australian big man Julian Khazzouh attacks the basket against Tadamon. Khazzouh's Sagesse club scraped a win, 90-87. |
Matt Morgan of Hoops pulls up against Champville. Champville ended up winning convincingly, though, 78-62. |
Sagesse import Terrell Stoglin has been stellar for the legendary club, leading them to an immaculate 6-0 card so far in the season. |
