Like in previous posts, I won’t be going into a lot of detail. I’ll use mostly images and then just add captions to each one that will, hopefully, capture the essence of the latest developments in Asian hoops.

| It was a super busy week in Asian hoops! |
Here are the highlights of this past week in Asian basketball:
- We saw All-Star Weekend highlights from the CBA and NBL-Japan.
- Taiwan Beer continued to slide in the SBL, while the Fubon Braves had a huge win over Pure Youth.
- In the Iranian Superleague, title favorites Petrochimi Bandar Imam and Mahram Tehran tangled again in their version of Manila Clasico.
- Over in Lebanon, Byblos-Amchit and Moutahed had big wins to move up in the standings.
- Also, the Dubai Invitational Tourney kicked off with Lebanese clubs Sagesse and Al Riyadi dominating the field.

| Michael Beasley set a new CBA record with 59 points in the All-Star Game as the South beat the North, 142-123. |

| Syrian superstar Michel Madanli/Michael Madanly ruled the 3-point Shootout. Madanli plays for the Jilin Northeast Tigers, putting up 21 points and 4 threes a game. |

| 18-year old Bayi Rockets forward Zou Yuchen was named MVP of the All-Star Rookie Game. |

| Ham Ji-Hoon tries to drive past Oh Se-Keun as the Ulsan Mobis Phoebus beat Anyang KGC, 86-73, to remain in second place. Anyang fell to 13-23. |

| Rookie big man Lee Seung-Hyun continues to impress for the Goyang Orions, who defeated the Jeonju KCC Egis, 85-56. Lee had 13 points and 7 rebounds. |

| Veteran guard Park Sang-Oh charges down the gut of the Wonju Bongbu Promy defense. Park had 8 points to help the league-leading Seoul SK Knights prevail. |

| Senegalese-French import Amath M'Baye was the toast of the NBL All-Star Weekend, copping the Slam Dunk title and the All-Star Game MVP after racking up 44 points in the West's 127-112 win over the East. M'Baye plays for the Mitsubishi Diamond Dolphins. |

| National team mainstay Daiki Tanaka had 8 points to help the "Hopes" team defeat the "Futures" team, 84-83, in the first All-Star Game this weekend. The "Hopes" were composed of the best U24 players in the NBL and NBDL, while the "Futures" were made up of the best university players. |

| Super sniper Kosuke Kanamaru hit 7 threes in the West's win over the East. Not surprisingly, he also won the 3-point Shootout. |

| Veteran Chang Chih-Feng helped the Dacin Tigers snap a losing streak and hand the reeling Taiwan Beer club its seventh loss in the last ten games. |

| Wingman Chang Yu-Lin splits the Pure Youth defense as the Fubon Braves beat the defending champs, 95-89, in OT. This put Fubon just half a game behind Pure Youth in the league table. |

| Joey Accaoui looks for a friend in this sequence. Accaoui scored 14 points for Tadamon Zouk, but they still lost to United Byblos Amchit (UBA), 79-72. |

| Mazen Mneimneh goes down the lane aggressively. Mneimneh had a game-high 28 points to lead UBA in the win. |

| Rashad McCants of Homenetmen Beirut tries a dipsy-doo lay-up. McCants tallied 17 points, but his team still fell to Moutahed Tripoli, 76-67. |

| Asi Taulava slams one home in the NLEX Road Warriors' first game of the tournament. They won that game against Al Itihad-Libya, 81-71. |
