Like in previous posts, I won’t be going into a lot of detail. I’ll use mostly images and then just add captions to each one that will, hopefully, capture the essence of the latest developments in Asian hoops.
Here are the highlights of this past week in Asian basketball:
- The Liaoning Flying Leopards take a 2-1 series lead in the CBA Finals after beating the Beijing Ducks in a cardiac Game 3!
- The KBL Playoffs saw the Incheon ET Land Elephants eliminate the Seoul SK Knights, while the Goyang Orions forced a Game 5 against the Changwon LG Sakers.
- The NBL season in Japan continues, with the Aisin Seahorses, Hiroshima Dragonflies, and Toyota Alvark moving up in the standings.
- The SBL Playoffs have also heated up, with both semifinal series tied at 1-1.
- The second conference of the IBF Superleague is moving along well, with Azad remaining unbeaten even as Mahram and Petrochimi follow closely behind.
- The Lebanese Basketball League just finished its second phase and will now move on to the crossover round.
- In Qatar, Al Rayyan and El Jaish are now tied at the top after the former beat the latter this past week.

| Rookie sensation Lee Seung-Hyun helped the Orions push the Sakers to the limit. They should be back even stronger next season. Lee is a prime candidate for the Korean NT this year. |

| Daisuke Noguchi tries to penetrate against the suffocating defense of the Hiroshima Dragonflies. Noguchi's Tsukuba Robots lost this one, 60-87. |

| Up-and-coming player Daiki Tanaka helped the Toyota Alvark go 2-0 against the Hyogo Storks this past week. Tanaka is projected to be one of the future bulwarks of Team Hayabusa. |
