#PumpedUpKicks: adidas fans #NMD fever with the NMD_R1 PK WHITE!

Ever since their release in December 2015, the adidas Originals NMDs have elicited an eye-popping degree of demand from sneakerheads all over. And despite being five months into 2016 and around half a year after their initial release, the NMDs continue to garner, shudder, Yeezy-esque levels of hype whenever a new cw is seen on social media.

It does seem like we will never get enough of the Adidas NMD fever, does it? Any new NMD sells like hotcakes at our favorite local retail outelts, and the even resell well beyond their SRP. And this is a shoe not really paraded around by any rapper or Kardashian, mind you.


Of course, local and foreign sneaker freaks are all in unison when they say that what makes the NMD click is a set of three simple things that make a great shoe: its design is distinct, its tech is modern, and it’s feels as comfortable as a cloud. Without a doubt, the NMD is the sneaker of the moment — the shoe of the NOW.

Now, adidas goes back to the NMD’s original silhouette with the NMD_R1, which will step out in an all-white, full Primeknit construction. The sleek design features the same technical wielded tape overlays atop a white BOOST midsole with its unmistakeable blue and red EVA plugs that echo moments of three-stripe innovation. 

Needless to say, it’s the ultimate premium sneaker with iconic references to the legacy of the adidas brand.
