- The Pinoys displayed superior form against the hapless Singaporeans. From the start, it was clear that both teams weren't in the same class.
- Mark Barroca showcased his offensive capability, finishing with 18 points and 5 assists. Japeth Aguilar continued to impress with a double-double -- 18 points and 15 rebounds.
- Mark Douthit was rested today, playing just 10 minutes and scoring 8 points. Seldom-used Jason Ballesteros did a good job manning the slot in lieu of Douthit. Ballesteros ended up with just 4 points, but led all players with 16 boards.
- As expected, Wei Long Wong was the lone bright spot for Singapore, hitting 5 triples en route to 20 points.

- The Indonesians used a strong start and an even stronger finish to arrange a championship game with the Filipinos.
- The Malaysians managed to score a combined 8 points in the 1st & 4th periods, which explains why the final spread is unexpectedly large.
- The home team was led by Christian Sitepu's spirited display of 15 points and 8 rebounds. He was ably supported by Andi Poedjakesuma, Amin Prihantono, and Xaverius Prawiro, all of whom combined for 8 three-pointers.
- The only Malaysians who seemed to put up a fight were Li Wei Chee and Shee Fai Loh, finishing with 13 and 11 markers respectively.
