Notes:

- The Blue Eaglets won their third game in five matches by defeating the Zobel Junior Archers. Thirdy Ravena flashed his athletic form in collecting 18 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists to lead Ateneo to the big win. It was, however, not enough to push Ateneo into the next round as their 3-2 record is good for just third in Group C behind tormentors Letran and San Sebastian. Anton Asistio continued his scoring binge, producing 17 markers despite hitting just 1 of his 7 trey attempts. Mark Gamboa orchestrated well with 12 points and 7 assists, while undersized big man Mike Nieto ended up with 10 rebounds on top of 6 points. After making some difficult cuts, it looks like this iteration of the Eaglets has a good chance of challenging for the Season 75 Juniors crown.

- Aljohn Mariano further underscored his newfound assignment as the Tigers’ top gunner, scoring 26 points to lead UST to win number 5, which also helped propel the España five to the Final 8. Mariano shot 8-of-12 from the field and 9-of-12 from the line in a scintillating shooting display that fanned the hopes of the UST faithful for a return to the Final Four in the UAAP. Mariano was also a beast on the boards, grabbing 10 rebounds. UP’s losing effort

(this was their 7^th loss in 8 games) was spearheaded by Mike Silungan’s 18 points. Silungan actually shot pretty well , making 4 of his 9 attempts from beyond the arc, but his team was plagued by awful FT shooting (57%), and woeful rebounding (they were outrebounded, 47-26).

- The Red Lions continued their unblemished march to the next round and ousted the Letran Knights in the process. San Beda rode the combined 39-point output of Baser Amer, Rome Dela Rosa, and Ola Adeogun to blast the Letran defense to smithereens. Coach Ronnie Magsanoc’s wards also played tenacious defense, which limited the Knights to just 31% shooting from the floor. The Lions also won the battle of the boards, outrebounding the Knights, 52-42, and forcing 19 Letran turnovers compared to just 14 of their own. Ace shooter Kevin Alas was also contained, producing just 6 points in 30 minutes of action.

- Even without Greg Slaughter, the DLSU Green Archers needed an extra five minutes to finally brush aside the stiff challenge from their archrivals, the Ateneo Blue Eagles. Jeron Teng hit a big three from the left quarter-court to tie the game, and he helped La Salle maintain enough momentum to finish the job in the OT. Teng finished with 17 points despite horrendous FG shooting (6-of-19). LA Revilla helped him out with 16 points, while Norbert Torres really exploited the thin Ateneo frontline, ending up with 13 points and a whopping 19 caroms. Ryan Buenafe tried to lead the Ateneans’ fourth quarter comeback, scoring 10 of his 21 in that period, but the Katipunan quintet just couldn’t close out. Kiefer Ravena was the only other Blue Eagle in double-figures with 14 markers. Ateneo’s starting frontcourt, JP Erram and Nico Salva, produced just 9 points and 15 rebounds. Ateneo still enters the next round as the second seed in Group A, while the Green Archers snatch third spot. DLSU is set to play San Sebastian next, while Ateneo tangles with fellow Season 74 finalists, FEU.
