- Chandler and Brewer paired up for 43 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists as the Nuggets beat the Rockets at home to remain firmly at #3, 2 games in front of the Clippers.
- Tim Duncan and Kawhi Leonard were supremely sublime in San Antonio’s win over the Hawks. TD had 31 points and 14 boards, while Leonard filled the stat-sheet with a 23-6-4-2-2 line.
- How about John Wall? This early, he just might be a 2014 All-Star already. Wall dropped 37 on Indiana, while also adding 5 assists, 2 steals, and 2 rejections.

- In contrast, Paul George missed all his field goals and finished with only 2 points in 34 minutes of play. This is not a good sign for the 2013 All-Star, who has struggled of late even as the Pacers try to catch up with the Knicks for the East’s #2 spot.
- Are you getting sick of seeing Joe Johnson throw up bricks? I am, but, strangely enough, the Nets aren’t. JJ shot just 5-of-16 in the Nets’ latest game. Good thing it was just versus the Bobcats.
- DeMar DeRozan might be this generation’s Corey Maggette – a high-flying wing player who does nothing else but score and fill the highlight reel (Maggette doesn’t even do THAT anymore!). Against the Bucks, DeRozan shot just 6-of-14 from the floor and had only 2 rebounds. Nothing else.

John Wall scored a game-high 37 points
on 16-of-25 shooting from the floor as the Washington Wizards won their ninth
straight at home in convincing fashion by downing the Indiana Pacers, 104-85,
on Saturday. Wall added two steals, two blocks and five assists for the
Wizards, who have three of four and haven't lost at home since a 96-88 setback
versus New York on March 1. Kevin Seraphin chipped in 15 points and Martell
Webster had 13 in the victory. Roy Hibbert paced Indiana with 25 points to go
along with 10 rebounds and Gerald Green scored 13 points for the Pacers, who
have dropped two straight following a five-game winning streak. Indiana came
into the contest having won nine consecutive games in the series versus the
Wizards, but the Pacers shot just 40.7 percent (35- of-86) including a mere
3-of-20 from behind the arc.

Brooklyn, NY (Sports Network) - Deron
Williams scored 32 points and led the Brooklyn Nets to a 105-96 win over the
Charlotte Bobcats on Saturday. Brook Lopez had 19 points and four blocks, while
Andray Blatche and Joe Johnson scored 16 and 15 points, respectively, for the
Nets, who came into the game off a 92-90 loss against Chicago on Thursday.
Reggie Evans recorded a double-double with 14 points and 20 rebounds in the
victory. Ben Gordon scored 27 points off the bench for the Bobcats, who have
lost seven of their last nine games. Gerald Henderson tallied 22 points and
Bismack Biyombo had 10 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks in the setback.

Miami, FL (Sports Network) - LeBron
James returned to lineup for Miami and scored an efficient 27 points on
12-of-17 shooting, and the Heat dominated Philadelphia in the fourth quarter to
take a 106-87 win on Saturday at American Airlines Arena. Five others scored in
double-figures for the Heat, who became the first team this season to reach 60
wins. Rashard Lewis had 14 points, Norris Cole scored 13 and Ray Allen had 11
after missing Friday's game against Charlotte with a sprained ankle. Dwyane
Wade missed his fourth straight contest with injured leg and Chris Bosh sat
with a sore knee for Miami. Jrue Holiday scored 18 for the Sixers, who had won
five of seven coming in. Spencer Hawes added 11 points with 11 rebounds and Evan
Turner scored 14 in the defeat.

Ridnour made three clutch free throws with less than 20 seconds to play, as the
Minnesota Timberwolves held off the slumping Detroit Pistons, 107-101, on
Saturday to give coach Rick Adelman his 1,000th career NBA victory. Adelman now
joins a list which includes Don Nelson, Lenny Wilkens, Pat Riley, Jerry Sloan,
Phil Jackson, Larry Brown and George Karl, with the historic win. Nikola Pekovic
scored 20 points and grabbed 13 rebounds and Jose Juan Barea also had 20 to go
along with six assists for the Timberwolves, who have won three of four. Andrei
Kirilenko and Dante Cunningham chipped in 13 points apiece and Derrick Williams
had 14 in the victory. Brandon Knight scored 25 points to lead Detroit, which
has dropped 15 of 17. Rodney Stuckey netted 20 points and grabbed eight boards
and Greg Monroe donated 16 points in the setback.

Ellis registered 22 points, nine assists and six steals to lead the Milwaukee
Bucks to a 100-83 rout against the Toronto Raptors on Saturday. Ellis was just
5-of-14 from the field, but made all 10 of his free throw attempts for the
Bucks. Brandon Jennings had 16 points and seven assists and Larry Sanders
recorded 12 points, nine rebounds and six blocks. Alan Anderson and Quincy Acy
scored 14 and 13 points, respectively, off the bench for the Raptors, who got
12 points apiece from Jonas Valanciunas and DeMar DeRozan.

San Antonio, TX (Sports Network) - Tim
Duncan filled the stat sheet with 31 points, 14 rebounds and four blocks, and
the San Antonio Spurs held on for a 99-97 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on
Saturday. Kawhi Leonard added 23 points for the Spurs, who moved a half-game
ahead of the idle Thunder for first place in the Western Conference. San
Antonio bounced back from a 100-88 loss to Oklahoma City on Thursday. The Spurs
played without guard Tony Parker due to a sore neck. John Jenkins and Mike
Scott ended with 23 and 22 points, respectively, for the Hawks, who have lost
three in a row and sit sixth in the Eastern Conference. Johan Petro had a
double-double with 11 points and 15 boards. Atlanta has lost 15 straight
against the Spurs in San Antonio.

Denver, CO (Sports Network) - Corey
Brewer and Wilson Chandler had 22 and 21 points, respectively, as the Denver
Nuggets recorded their 20th straight home victory with a 132-114 decision over
the Houston Rockets. Andre Iguodala added 18 points, 14 assists and seven
rebounds for the Nuggets, who improved to 35-3 at home this season. Evan
Fournier donated 17 points. Denver, which has won four in a row, sits
third in the
Western Conference. Jeremy Lin ended with 23 points and eight assists for the
Rockets, who had a four-game winning streak snapped. James Harden and Terrence
Jones tallied 14 and 13 points, respectively. Houston, which has lost seven
straight against Denver, sits seventh in the West.
