injuries dotted today’s lineup of games, as D-Rose, Marc Gasol, and Iggy will
all undergo MRIs tomorrow. Meanwhile, KD continued to impress for OKC, while
SAS and POR extended their respective winning runs.

The Best:
- Kevin Durant continued to showcase his sublime shooting, dropping 28 points on 10/19 FG shooting as the Thunder beat the Clippers. KD also grabbed 6 boards and handed out 8 assists in a superb offensive assault. Durant currently leads the league with 29.5 points per game.
- A few days ago, Pau Gasol promised to donate $1,000 for every point he would score against the Warriors. As it turns out, the Spaniard will be donating $24,000 to the Typhoon Haiyan relief effort after scoring 24 points in the Lakers’ huge win over Golden State. Gasol also filled the sheet with 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block in an inspired effort.
- Spencer Hawes continued his own strong start to the season, hitting 3 triples and shooting 11/16 overall as his Sixers defeated the Bucks. Hawes had great numbers from last season, but a slew of injuries converted a lot of believers in to doubters, but, so far, he has been nothing short of great for Philly. Hawes is norming a 16-10 double-double through 14 games, making about 2 treys per outing, and converting on nearly 50% of his threes.
The Worst:
- The shooting duo of Jared Dudley and JJ Redick sputtered big time as the Clips fell short against OKC. As a pair, Dudley and Redick shot 6/20 from the field and combined for just 15 points in 61 minutes. They connected on a total of 2 triples after attempting a combined 10. Can you say ice cold?
- Injuries galore. Derrick Rose came down with another knee injury. Ditto with Marc Gasol. Both are possible ACL tears. Andre Iguosala, meanwhile, strained his hamstring in GSW’s loss to the Lakers. All three are due for MRIs to determine the extent of their conditions.

City, OK (SportsNetwork.com) - Kevin Durant posted 28 points and dished out
eight assists to guide the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 105-91 win over the Los
Angeles Clippers. Serge Ibaka added 17 points and Russell Westbrook scored 12
for Oklahoma City, which remained unbeaten at home after five games at
Chesapeake Energy Arena. The Thunder, winners of three in a row, also got
revenge for a 111-103 loss at Staples Center last Wednesday. They never trailed
Thursday. Chris Paul extended his NBA-record streak with at least 10 points and
10 assists to start a season to 13 games. Paul had 17 points and 12 helpers,
and the Clippers got 27 points and 10 rebounds from Blake Griffin. Jamal
Crawford scored 18 for the Clippers, who have dropped two of their last three
since a four-game winning streak.

(SportsNetwork.com) - Jordan Hamilton had 17 points off the bench to lead six
Denver scorers in double figures and the Nuggets defeated the Chicago Bulls
97-87 on Thursday. J.J. Hickson scored 14 with nine rebounds, Kenneth Faried
netted 12 points with 11 boards and Randy Foye and Ty Lawson finished with 12
and 10 points, respectively, for Denver, which hasn't lost to Chicago at home
since Feb. 8, 2006. Derrick Rose led Chicago, which had a five-game winning
streak snapped, with 19 points and four assists in 33 minutes and Carlos Boozer
and Mike Dunleavy both chipped in with 15 points.

NC (SportsNetwork.com) - Channing Frye made 5-of-7 from behind the arc en route
to 20 points to lead the Phoenix Suns to a 98-91 win over the Charlotte Bobcats
on Friday. P.J. Tucker made all six of his shots for 17 points for Phoenix,
which gained the lead late in the first quarter and never relinquished it
despite a late push by the home team. The Bobcats trailed by as many as 21
points early in the fourth quarter but a late 12-1 surge made it 96-91 before
time ran out on the comeback effort. Goran Dragic and Gerald Green scored 14
points apiece and Markieff Morris tallied 11 points and nine rebounds off the
bench as the Suns climbed back to .500 after dropping four in a row. Gerald
Henderson's 17 points paced Charlotte in the losing effort. Kemba Walker and
Ramon Sessions netted 16 and 15 points, respectively.

corner, pirouetted to his left and let go of a desperation one-footed fallaway
with 1.7 seconds left in regulation. Hawes' third 3-pointer in the final 1:21
of regulation sent the game into overtime before the 76ers topped the Milwaukee
Bucks, 115-107. Hawes had 11 of his 25 points during the Sixers' fourth-quarter
surge, Evan Turner netted 23 of his 27 points after halftime, and Michael
Carter-Williams filled the stat sheet with 12 points, 11 assists, eight
rebounds and five steals for the Sixers, who snapped a four- game losing
streak. Ersan Ilyasova logged 19 points, six rebounds and six assists for
Milwaukee, which has dropped seven straight tilts.

(SportsNetwork.com) - Rudy Gay provided the difference in crunch time as the
Toronto Raptors fended off John Wall and the Washington Wizards, 96-88, to win
back-to-back games in November for the first time since 2010. Gay scored nine
of his 17 points in the final 2:33, DeMar DeRozan netted 17 points as well and
Jonas Valanciunas provided a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds in
the win. The Raptors somehow lead the Atlantic Division while still being under
.500 at 6-7. They will try to even their record next Tuesday when they host the
Nets in the second of a four-game homestand. Washington had its two-game
winning streak snapped despite a tremendous showing from Wall, who was an
efficient 15-of-20 from the floor for 37 points. Bradley Beal checked in with
17 points, while Nene had 10 points and 10 boards in the setback.

(SportsNetwork.com) - Paul George scored a game-high 27 points and Lance
Stephenson recorded a triple-double to lead the Indiana Pacers to a 97-82 win
over the Boston Celtics on Friday. Stephenson, who also notched a triple-double
on Nov. 11, poured in 10 points to go with 11 rebounds and 10 assists. He is
the only player in the NBA this season with multiple triple- doubles. David
West and Luis Scola added 17 points apiece for the Pacers, who improved to an
Eastern Conference-best 11-1. Jordan Crawford scored 24 points and Jeff Green
added 20 for the Celtics, who have dropped six straight.

double figures with 18 points, while Al Horford netted 17 with 11 rebounds, and
the Atlanta Hawks defeated the Detroit Pistons, 96-89, on Friday night. Kyle
Korver and Paul Millsap each chipped in 14 points and DeMarre Carroll tallied
12 points in the win. Teague scored 14 points in the third quarter and made a
clutch block on Detroit's Brandon Jennings with the Hawks holding a 92-89 lead
with 1:41 left in the fourth quarter, as Atlanta swept its home-and-home with
Detroit. Kyle Singler scored 22 points starting in place of Josh Smith, Andre
Drummond recorded his seventh straight double-double with 15 points and 16
rebounds, and Greg Monroe added 11 points and 11 boards in the setback.

Antonio Spurs defeated the Memphis Grizzlies, 102-86, on Friday night. Tiago

straight games. Manu Ginobili netted 15 points to go with seven assists and
five rebounds in the triumph. Mike Conley tallied 28 points and four steals,
while Zach Randolph registered 16 points and 10 boards for Memphis, which had
its four-game winning streak snapped. Marc Gasol left the tilt early in the
second quarter with an apparent left knee injury in a non- contact situation.

28 minutes as the Minnesota Timberwolves cruised to a 111-81 win over the
struggling Brooklyn Nets at Target Center. Kevin Martin scored 17 points for
Minnesota, which snapped a two-game losing skid. Corey Brewer and Nikola
Pekovic dropped in 15 points apiece, while Ricky Rubio went for 12 points and
eight assists. Andray Blatche paced the shorthanded Nets with 16 points off the
bench. Joe Johnson netted 15 points as the lone starter in double figures for
Brooklyn, which has lost four in a row and seven of eight. Deron Williams and
Brook Lopez both missed the contest for Brooklyn with ankle injuries.

LA (SportsNetwork.com) - Eric Gordon drained a go-ahead 3-pointer in the final
minute and the New Orleans Pelicans rallied for a 104-100 victory over the
Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday. Gordon and Tyreke Evans both provided 19 points
for the Pelicans, who trailed by a dozen with under five minutes remaining
before pulling out their third straight win. Evans pulled down 10 rebounds as
well, while Jrue Holiday and Anthony Davis also posted double- doubles in the
comeback. Holiday chipped in with 15 points and 11 assists and Davis totaled 17
points and 13 rebounds. Kyrie Irving paced Cleveland with 22 points, Jarrett Jack
netted 19 and Dion Waiters had 14 in the club's fifth loss in six games.

(SportsNetwork.com) - Monta Ellis scored a game-high 26 points and the Dallas
Mavericks used a huge first half to beat the Utah Jazz, 103-93, at American
Airlines Center. Dirk Nowitzki and Samuel Dalembert each netted 18 points in
the win. Dalembert was 8-for-8 from the field and grabbed 12 rebounds. Dallas
led 58-34 at halftime and led by as many as 28 in the first half before the Jazz
chipped away at the lead in the second half, cutting the deficit to 90-85 with
4:42 left in the game after a Derrick Favors dunk. Jose Calderon answered 19
seconds later with a 3-pointer as Dallas held on. Marvin Williams scored a
team-high 19 points off the bench for Utah, and Jeremy Evans scored 14 points
off the pine on 7-of-7 shooting.

(SportsNetwork.com) - Friday's loss in Portland may prove twice as costly for
the Bulls. Chicago squandered a 21-point lead and watched former MVP Derrick
Rose exit with another knee injury as the Trail Blazers pulled out a 98-95
comeback victory at Moda Center. Rose changed direction to get back on defense
late in the third quarter and immediately grimaced before limping to the
sideline favoring his right knee. It was in his left knee that Rose tore his
ACL, costing him the entire 2012-13 season, but he was still in obvious pain as
team trainers helped him back to the locker room for further examination. Bulls
head coach Tom Thibodeau was concerned about Rose's health after the game and
said he would undergo an MRI on Saturday. Rose had tied a season high with 20
points before exiting, and his teammates couldn't prevent the Blazers from
rallying for their ninth straight win. Wesley Matthews netted 28 points and hit
the go-ahead jumper down the stretch, Damian Lillard added 20 points and Robin
Lopez finished with 13 points and 16 rebounds in the victory. Luol Deng donated
15 points and 14 boards for the Bulls, who dropped their second straight after
shooting just 31 percent from the field in the second half.

rebounds, Nick Young netted 21 points off the bench and the Los Angeles Lakers
maintained their home dominance over the Golden State Warriors with a 102-95
win on Friday night. Jordan Farmar and Steve Blake each scored 14 points and
the backcourt mates had a combined 13 assists for Los Angeles, which won its
11th straight home game against Golden State. Golden State played without point
guard Stephen Curry, who missed his second straight game with a concussion he
suffered against Utah on Monday. David Lee tallied 21 points and 13 rebounds, while
Harrison Barnes and Klay Thompson chipped in with 20 and 19 points,
respectively, in the loss.
