TALK N TEXT TROPANG TEXTERS over RAIN OR
SHINE ELASTO-PAINTERS, 99-76
The Talk

they made sure not to make the same mistake here, routing Rain or Shine with a
strong second half to win, 99-76. Talk ‘N Text allowed a huge fourth quarter
comeback against Alaska last Tuesday, but made it clear that no such rally was

the way 20 points, while rookie Kevin Alas had 18 points, 6 rebounds, and 4
assists for the Tropang Texters, who improved to 2-2. The pair also combined to
score 14 of the team’s points in a 20-7 third quarter run that gave them their

points for TNT, while rookie Matt Rosser added 11 markers. Undersized PF Harvey
Carey backstopped their efforts with a 10-point, 10-rebound double-double. On
the other end, Jeff Chan paced ROS with 16 marker,s but he shot just 4/11 from
the floor.
