#PumpedUpKicks: adidas Announces Harden Vol. 1 'Imma Be a Star'

Last night, adidas Philippines teamed up with Titan to locally launch the first ever signature shoe for NBA superstar James Harden. adidas and Titan pulled out all the stops in this one, holding the event in the newest Titan store in the posh Conrad Hotel at the Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City.

As can be expected, models of the initial release colorway, the James Harden Vol. 1 Pioneer, were on display along with the face of the grand launch — the James Harden Vol. 1 Imma Be A Star colorway, which symbolizes Harden’s roots and a promise he made 13 years ago to reach his dreams. 

The Harden Vol. 1 officially drops here in Manila today, November 23, with the Imma Be a Star headlining the initial release.

The launch of adidas’ new partnership with Harden moves the game forward and bears a message that change is certainly coming – the future starts now.

It’s crazy as hell that James Harden wasn’t voted as an All-Star starter this season. Crazy. As. Hell. But all is good now because The Beard is draining buckets, taking names, and, get this, playing D!!! His Rockets? Fifth overall in the league. Boom. And how about the other guys on this list? They’re pretty good, too, but, by far, there’s just no SG on the planet who can lay a hand on James effin’ Harden.
