Derrick Rose, Luol Deng, and Carlos Boozer all scored 20 or more points in Game 4.
LeBron James and Dwyane Wade combined for just 16-of-42 from the field.
The Bulls had more rebounds and assists than the Heat.
But it was all for naught.
At the end of the day, the Miami Heat remained unbeaten on their home floor in this year’s postseason. At the end of the day Tom Thibodeau’s Bulls found themselves down 1-3 in the East Finals series. At the end of the day the Hated Heat are just a win away from earning a spot in the NBA Finals.

At the end of the day the Heat just showed more composure and made the big plays that spelled the difference.
James, Mike Miller and Chris Bosh hit some big shots down the stretch while Dwyane Wade made up for his un-Wade-ish shooting with some defensive gems to thwart a Bulls team that many people saw as the antithesis to Miami.
Many pundits pegged this series to go the distance, but it seems everything is just being cooked in High Heat. All of a sudden, Erik Spoelstra is looking to close out the opposition in Game 5.
Philly was breakfast. Boston was lunch. And Chicago looks like they’re ripe for dinnertime.
Still, the Bulls don’t seem too unfastened. They still think they have a chance.
Oft-maligned forward Carlos Boozer said, “We thought we had chances to win and unfortunately we came up short. All we can do now is focus on the next one at home and do what we can to win that game and then move forward from there.”

The MVP seconded that by commenting, “All I can do now is put it behind me and go forward.”
Very few teams have roared back from a 1-3 hole, but the Bulls do have one thing handy – Game 5 is at home, and, if they miraculously beat the Heat in an if necessary Game 6, then the rubber match will be on Illinois soil too.
It’s not over yet for Chicago, but by all indications Miami has shown that they may have become just too hot to handle.
