Today’s Worst:
- The big stars of the Big Apple let them down tonight. Carmelo Anthony and JR Smith combined to shoot only 16-of-45 from the floor. They also coughed the ball up a combined 5 times. They’ll need three nearly perfect games to overhaul Indiana’s 3-1 series advantage.
- After a scorching display in Game 3, Steph Curry and Klay Thompson have seen their shooting go ice cold. In this game, both paired up for 6-of-22 shooting from the field. These brothers ain’t making much of a splash right now.

IN (Sports Network) - The Indiana Pacers have dominated the glass all year
long. Now their rebounding prowess has them on the brink of advancing to the
Eastern Conference finals. George Hill netted 26 points and Paul George added
18 points and 14 rebounds in the Pacers' 93-82 thumping of the New York Knicks
in Game 4 of this Eastern Conference semifinal. The NBA's top rebounding team
during the regular season held a 54-36 edge on the boards and have outrebounded
the Knicks by a 188-142 margin so far in this series. Indiana took a 3-1
stranglehold in the set and can wrap up the series Thursday at Madison Square
Garden. David West also had a double-double with 10 points and 10 boards, Roy
Hibbert grabbed 11 rebounds and again clogged the paint defensively with three
more blocks, while Lance Stephenson chipped in with 13 points for Indiana,
which hasn't lost at home this postseason. The Memphis Grizzlies are the only
other team to not suffer a defeat on their home floor during the playoffs.
After not making a field goal in the fourth quarter of Game 3, the Knicks'
Carmelo Anthony was held scoreless in the final frame of Game 4 and fouled out
with two minutes left. He concluded with 24 points on 9-of-23 shooting. NBA
Sixth Man of the Year J.R. Smith continued to have a frustrating time
offensively as well for New York. He missed eight of his first nine shots and
finished just 7-of-22 from the floor for 19 points. He's 18-of-64 overall in
the set. New York, which led the NBA in 3-point makes per game (10.9) during
the year, was 28.6 percent (8-of-28) from beyond the arc.

TX (Sports Network) - San Antonio stifled the Splash Brothers and Tony Parker
carried the load for the Spurs in a dominant second half. Parker tallied 16 of
his 25 points in the second half and added 10 assists in the Spurs' 109-91 win
over the Golden State Warriors in Game 5 of this Western Conference semifinal.
Parker was 9-of-16 from the field for San Antonio, which can advance to the
Western Conference finals for the eighth time in 15 years with a win in Oakland
on Thursday. The Spurs outscored Golden State 55-40 over the final 24 minutes,
when San Antonio recorded 18 points off 11 Warriors turnovers. Kawhi Leonard
registered 17 points and seven rebounds, Danny Green netted 16 points and Tim
Duncan added 14 points and 11 boards in the triumph. The potent backcourt duo
of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson were limited to a combined 13 points on
6-of-22 shooting for Golden State, which got 25 points and seven rebounds from
Harrison Barnes. Curry, who had been averaging 26 points per game through the
first four games of this set, had nine points. He was 1-of-7 from beyond the
arc. Thompson poured in just four points and had been averaging 20 in the
series. Jarrett Jack netted 20 points off the bench in defeat.
