- FEU standouts RR Pogoy and Mike Tolomia led the Gilas Cadets as they cruised past Indonesia for their third win in as many games. Pogoy hit 2 triples en route to 12 points, while Tolomia recorded 7 assists on top of a dozen markers as well. UST star forward Kevin Ferrer also impressed, recording 10 points for the Filipinos, who tangle with very dangerous Thailand on Day 5. Surliyadin Surliyadin shot 6/15 from the floor to finish with 12 points to pace the Indons, who remained winless.

- The hosts uncorked a statement game against the fancied Singaporeans. Thailand didn’t waste anytime imposing their will on Singapore, leading by 21 after just one period and relentlessly continuing their attack till the final buzzer. Six Thai players scored 7 or more points, led by a dozen markers from sniper Nakorn Jainasuk. Young dynamic duo Theerawat Chanthachon and Kannut Semerjai also impressed with a combined 21 markers. Chantachon also hauled down 10 rebounds in a superb performance in the middle. No Singaporean scored more than 7 points.
