Day’s Best:
- So James Harden continues to be the star he could never be in OKC. The Beard dropped 29 on the West-leading Spurs, including the game-winning basket with 4.5 ticks to go. Oh, and he also had the decency to grab 9 rebounds, dish out 6 assists, get 2 steals, and block 2 shots. The gall, right?
- Miami’s 23-4 first quarter run pretty much sealed their 26th straight W.
- This could easily be one of the WORST things, too, but props to the Mavericks for declaring that they wouldn’t shave till they reach .500. Can’t wait to see them look like bearded crazies.

- Charlotte Bobcats. Just, you know, put up a fight?
- Brooklyn pulled it off against Phoenix, but not before squandering a 16-point bubble. Inconsistency will doom these Nets.
- AK47 should’ve probably rested his injury a bit more. He scored just 4 points and turned the ball over 3 times against CHI. ZERO blocks, too.

WI (Sports Network) - Dahntay Jones sank a go-ahead free throw with 22.4
seconds remaining to lift the Atlanta Hawks to a 104-99 victory over the
Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday at BMO Harris Bradley Center. Jones, who finished
1-for-5 from the charity stripe, hit the first free throw before missing the
second, but Anthony Tolliver grabbed the offensive board to keep possession
with the Hawks. Al Horford then sank two more from the line, and after Monta
Ellis came up empty on a potential game-tying 3-pointer, Jeff Teague knocked
down a pair from the stripe to seal the outcome. Horford finished with 24
points, seven rebounds and six assists, while Josh Smith added 23 points and
nine boards for the Hawks, who defeated the Bucks 98-90 on Wednesday in
Atlanta. Ellis led Milwaukee with 20 points and Ersan Ilyasova registered a
double-double with 19 points and 10 boards for the Bucks, who have lost three
straight and six of their last eight.

(Sports Network) - The Miami Heat took another step closer to making history on
Sunday, picking up their 26th consecutive win with a 109-77 rout of the
Charlotte Bobcats at American Airlines Arena. LeBron James knocked down
11-of-14 shots from the field en route to a game-high 32 points. The reigning
league MVP also had 10 assists and eight rebounds. Chris Bosh added 15 points
and Ray Allen finished with 14 for the Heat, who were without All-Star guard Dwyane
Wade because of a sore right knee. The result puts the Heat within seven wins
of matching the 1971-72 Los Angeles Lakers' all-time record for consecutive
victories. The Heat play at Orlando Monday night. Kemba Walker scored a
team-best 20 points and Gerald Henderson chipped in 18 for the Bobcats, who
have dropped 14 of their last 17 games overall.

(Sports Network) - James Harden's jumper with 4.5 seconds left lifted the
Houston Rockets to a 96-95 win over the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday. Trailing
93-89, Chandler Parsons buried a triple to make it 93-92 with 1:19 left. Tony
Parker, who scored 12 of his 23 points in the fourth quarter, then knocked down
a pair of free throws seven seconds later to make it a three-point game.
Following a timeout, Harden was fouled while attempting a 3-pointer, but went
just 2-for-3 from the charity stripe to make it 95-94 with just over a minute
remaining. Tim Duncan missed a short jumper, but the Spurs retained possession
after winning a jumpball. Kawhi Leonard looked to put San Antonio ahead by four
with a trey from the left corner, but the ball hit the side of the backboard.
Following another timeout, Harden threw the inbounds pass to Omer Asik, who
quickly tapped it back, and Harden pulled up and buried a jumper from just
inside the arc. The Spurs had a chance to win the game, but Duncan bricked a
fadeaway jumper, and Manu Ginobili's putback didn't fall at the buzzer.

MN (Sports Network) - Nate Robinson had 22 points and 10 assists in the Chicago
Bulls' 104-97 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. Jimmy Butler tallied 20
points and nine rebounds for Chicago, which had dropped five of its last six
games on the road. The Bulls won their seventh straight meeting against the
Wolves. Carlos Boozer registered 19 points and 12 boards, while Luol Deng added
17 points, seven rebounds and four assists in the victory. Derrick Williams
netted a game-high 28 points to lead the Wolves, who are 8-29 in their last 37
games.

City, OK (Sports Network) - Kevin Durant recorded a double-double with 24
points and 10 rebounds, as the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Portland
Trail Blazers, 103-83, on Sunday. Russell Westbrook scored 21 points and dished
out nine assists for the Thunder, who were coming off a 97-89 win at Orlando on
Friday. Serge Ibaka tallied 16 points and five blocks, while Kevin Martin and
Nick Collison added 11 and 10 points, respectively, off the bench. Damian
Lillard had a team-high 19 points while Nicolas Batum registered 13 points,
eight rebounds and eight assists for the Trail Blazers, who had won two
straight. LaMarcus Aldridge recorded a double-double with 10 points and 12
rebounds in defeat.

(Sports Network) - Mike James and Dirk Nowitzki scored 19 and 17 points,
respectively, as the Dallas Mavericks defeated the Utah Jazz, 113-108, on
Sunday. Seven Dallas players scored double-digits in the victory. Shawn Marion
and Vince Carter scored 15 points apiece. Darren Collison tallied 13 points off
the bench while O.J. Mayo and Elton Brand each had 10 points for the Mavericks,
who have won three of their last four games. Enes Kanter scored 17 points off
the bench for the Jazz, who have racked up a four- game losing streak. Paul
Millsap and Al Jefferson scored 15 points apiece, with Millsap grabbing nine
boards in the setback.

double-double with 20 points and 11 assists, as the Brooklyn Nets defeated the
Phoenix Suns, 102-100, on Sunday. Kris Humphries had a season- high 17 points
and eight rebounds while C.J. Watson scored 14 points off the bench for the
Nets, who came into the game off a 101-95 loss against the Clippers on
Saturday. Goran Dragic had a game-high 31 points to go along with 12 assists
for the Suns, who have lost seven of their last eight games. Wesley Johnson
scored 21 points and P.J. Tucker tallied 14 points and eight rebounds. Markieff
Morris had a double-double, recording 10 points and 15 rebounds, including nine
offensive.

CA (Sports Network) - Jrue Holiday had 21 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists
in the Philadelphia 76ers' 117-103 win over the Sacramento Kings. Dorell Wright
netted 22 points for the Sixers, who snapped a 15- game road losing streak.
Lavoy Allen scored 20, and Damien Wilkins added 17 points and six boards in the
victory. Isaiah Thomas tallied 25 points to lead Sacramento, which had won three
straight at home.
