BARAKO BULL ENERGY over ALASKA ACES, 93-91 (OT)
Box scores.
The Barako Bull Energy got a huge lift from import Solomon Alabi as he made a game-winning putback in overtime to lead his team past Alaska, 93-91, and snap a two-game losing skid on Tuesday at the Cuneta Astrdome.
Alabi had 23 points and 19 rebounds – none bigger than a huge offensive rebound and follow-up in the extra period that left only two seconds on the clock – to hand the team the victory. He also had four blocks in the contest.
He had plenty of help from his teammates in this one, with Dave Marcelo posting 18 points and 8 boards, and Sol Mercado adding 15 markers and 4 assists. JC Intal and Carlo Lastimosa added 12 points each.
With the win, Barako Bull improved to 4-2, while Alaska dropped to 2-4.

Alabi made the biggest basket of the game as he grabbed an offensive board of his own miss and followed it up to give Barako Bull a two-point lead, 93-91, with two seconds left on the clock.
Alaska had one last chance to win it but James missed a technical free throw off a Barako Bull delay of game violation and Dondon Hontiveros came up short on a potential game-winning trey at the buzzer.
Line of the Game: Damion James (ALA) - 39pts, 11rebs, 5asts, 3stls, 3blks, 13/15 FTs.
