KIA CARNIVAL over TALK N TEXT TROPANG TEXTERS, 106-103
Box scores.
The Kia Carnival upset tour continued on Wednesday after they claimed another victim in the Talk ‘N Text Tropang Texters, 106-103 in a PBA Commissioner’s Cup clash at the SMART-Araneta Coliseum.

With their monster import PJ Ramos dominating the paint and his wide-open shooters knocking down long range bombs from afar, Kia picked up a third victory in seven games in the current conference while snapping the Talk ‘N Text’s three-game winning streak.

It was the second straight win for the Carnival – the first back-to-back wins in Kia’s franchise history.

Ramos narrowly-missed a triple-double with 24 points, 25 rebounds, and 9 assists even though he turned the ball over 10 times. He got plenty of help from Kia snipers Hyram Bagatsing (21 points) and Leo Avenido (16).

Bagatsing shot 6-for-7 from three-point range, while Avenido went 4-for-6. Both hit clutch three-pointers in a late 10-2 run that gave Kia a 105-98 lead with just 1:13 remaining.

Jayson Castro paced TNT with 24 points, 6 assists, and 4 rebounds, while Ivan Johnson dropped 21 markers, 12 boards, 4 dimes, 2 swipes, and 1 block.

Line of the Game: Peter John Ramos (KIA) - 24pts, 25rebs, 9asts, 10/20 FGs.

Hyram Bagatsing waxed hot from long range against TNT.

Once again, PJ Ramos proved to be unstoppable for the Carnival.

He finished with 17 points in the game off the bench to boost big nights from import Michael Dunigan and center Greg Slaughter.

Blackwater fell to 1-6 and dropped to the bottom of the standings. The Elite were led by Marcus Douthit’s 16 points and 14 boards.
