Box scores.
Jarrid Famous put up some monster numbers for GlobalPort while Terrence Romeo came alive at just the right time, leading the Batang Pier to a 102-94 victory over the Kia Carnival on Sunday at the SMART-Araneta Coliseum.

MERALCO BOLTS over BGY. GINEBRA GIN KINGS, 102-99
Box scores.
The Meralco Bolts survived a couple of blunders in the end-game to outlast Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, 102-99, and register their fifth win in PBA Governors’ Cup action Sunday at SMART-Araneta Coliseum.
Import Andre Emmett finished with 34 points and made crucial baskets down the stretch, but he missed a free throw on his team’s last possession, which opened the door for Ginebra’s potential game-tying try.
Sol Mercado, however, missed his triple as time expired.
Meralco improved to 5-4, while Ginebra remained in the bottom half of the standings with 3-6.
Both teams engaged in a highly heated battle all throughout which even led to an altercation in the third period. Jared Dillinger and Mercado confronted each other after physical play and had to be separated.
Both of them got a technical, as well as Gary David, who tried to get into the scuffle.
Dillinger, Reynel Hugnatan, and Seiya Ando scored 12 markers apiece for Meralco, which grabbed a share of fifth place
Johnson led the way for Ginebra with 25 points, but only five other Gin Kings scored a basket. The loss put Ginebra at 10th place and in danger of getting eliminated early.
Line of the Game: Andre Emmett (MER) - 34pts, 4rebs, 4asts, 1stl, 1blk, 13/26 FGs.
