SINGAPORE over INDONESIA, 62-40

- Delvin Goh and Lim Shengyu each put up a monster double-double to lead the Singaporeans in blowing out the hapless Indons. Goh scored 13 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, while Lim also impressed with a game-high 24 markers and also a dozen boards. Singapore started with tight defense, limiting Indonesia to only 3 points in the first quarter. Surliyadin paced the Indons with 18 points and 9 rebounds, but he shot just 6/24 from the field.

THAILAND over MALAYSIA, 85-66

- The Thais started strong in this game and cruised to their second straight double-digit win of the tournament. This time, it was Nakorn Jainasuk who led the way, hitting 6 triples en route to 18 points in only 15 minutes. Bandit Lakhan also did well with 11 points, while Theerawat Chanthachon and Chitchai Ananti each tallied 10 markers. On the other end, Yoon Jing Kwaan had 20 points and 5 rebounds, while fellow big man Tian Yuan Kuek added 11 markers to pace the Malaysians, who fell to 0-2.
